Prior to this, I spent five years as an economist in the International Monetary Fund’s Research Department and China Division. I am also a Research Affiliate at UCL’s Stone Centre for Inequality. I received my PhD in Economics from Stanford University in 2018. My primary fields of research are macroeconomics and trade with a focus on firms and economic development.
